Dysfunctional professional

Time goes by.. I was yesterday in Vaasa, shopping with my friends. I love to collect mugs, now I have Mötley Crüe mug too. And I'm always wonderin why my mom's friends look at me weird if they are at our house and I have set the table and made coffee..

Anyway, actually I decided to make a post 'cause I've bought so much new albums (and waiting still few for coming).. First, I've been waiting that Andy McCoy's Building on Tradition to TopTen from August. I ordered that album to there, and yesterday the sales clerk said it's not coming at all. Same answer about Dead Boys' album too. I gotta order them from somewhere else. Fuck, I waited almost half year for nothing.

But let that not to depress us too much.
'Cause even if you don't have enough money for food, you have always money for buying few albums. And I your house's on fire, save the most important (=albums) first. That's my aphorism of life.

From upper line, left to right:
Def Leppard: Pyromania (great 80's sound, from levykauppa Äx)
Backyard Babies: Them XX (that was fn' collection, which I didn't notice on time.. but it's good, better that I thought. From levykauppa Äx)
The Doors: The Doors (I love that.. from Levykauppa Äx)
Down:
Mötley Crue: Dr. Feelgood (from levykauppa Äx)
Michael Monroe: Another night in the sun (from TopTen, that's the first live album I've ever bought on perpous.. Recorded at Tavastia in 2010)

Look what I found today! We were meeting our granny and we stopped in Seinäjoki Anttila.. And there was T. Rex Rocks! collection with only 5€ ! Sad that Marc Bolan died in 1977, I'd like to see this band live.. (as well as Led Zeppelin, original GN'R etc.)

Well yeah, that kind of stuff this time. This became quite short but anyways.. bye <3

I've visited in heaven..

Yep, I have, believe it or not. That gig was the best I've ever seen before, and think, I've seen such bands like U2.. still club gigs are totally different. Ya know, in big shows where's about 50 000 people, that band is always so..distant. Like the band would be in another place at the same time. That makes the show boring, 'cause the feeling is missing.

But on Friday the feeling really wasn't missing. In Finlandia Klubi was about 600 people, who all had huge hair.. The show started a bit late 'cause they had some problem with mikes, so they started about half past nine.
We were sometimes in the first, sometime in the second line, but anyway so freakin close of the guys on stage. That was amazing. I knew already before the gig that Michael Monroe is good live, but I couldn't have believed that he would.. I don't how to say it. He was amazing. All the time running and jumping around, but you couldn't hear that from his voice at all. He sang everything perfectly (although he forgot to start few times singing in the right place, so he dropped some lines away..). And the rest of the band.. Sami Yaffa was fuckin cool as always, Steve Conte played good too (he winked me once!) and Dregen.. ya know Swedish Backyard Babies? The guitaris of that band plays with Michael Monroe nowadays and he suits to that group perfectly. They couldn't have chose any better guitarist to that band, Dregen was great choice. I love those guys so much ♥
About the music.. they didn't play loud at all, actually the volume level was good. They played mostly Sensory Overdrive songs but of course few Hanoi songs: Back to mystery City, Malibu beach nightmare (Michael really can play sax very well <3) and Motorvatin' (Sami's bass intro... ya should have seen it!)   And, of course they ended the show with Dead, Jail or Rock N' Roll.. and then came encore, three songs.. Then that was over. But that feeling is still on, I've fallen in love <3 I've never seen such intensive gig, that was full of speed and dangerous situations. And I loved that.
The best things of the show were of course that when Sami smiled at me, Michael pointed me when he sang Back to Mystery City's second verse: Hey little girl, you'll love it there, just backcomb your hair, let's get outta here.. <3 And... in the end of the show, when Michael came down from stage I touched his arm..<3 Actually I touched him twice.. All guys were fuckin sweaty, Dregen looked like someone had pour water on him.. Well, there was hot. Really. Best gig ever, I wanna go back there.

Think, I took this without zoom.. I really was that close of Michael Monroe. <3

Yeah. I don't know what else to say. Actually I can't really talk, 'cause I lost my voice partly and my back and chest are so hurt that I can hardly breathe deep. But I don't complain, that's my own fault XD
But some pics of the guys.. <3

Dregen, guitarist of Backyard Babies (one of two good swedish bands, other is The Hives but Backyard Babies is 100 times better)

I had long time a fobia of everything Finnish music, 'cause I adjusted that it's shit. Ya know, The Rasmus, HIM, Nightwish etc, I've never liked them. Especially I've always hated all those bands which make music in Finnish language. I just couldn't stand that, and I still can't. Finnish is ugly language, and usually it's so easy to regonize Finnish song (even though it's in English) 'cause it has no feelings, and there's no attitude. Finnish rockbands usually don't have any rock attitude. That's why I can't stand that music, it's like... ya know, wannabe. And I don't admire any Finnish rock stars.. But Michael, Sam and Andy are the only exceptions. <3

( I meant to put here one of the videos I took from the show, but my computer couldn't download them here, and that fuckin shit machine shut down and it took an hour to switch it on again.. so sorry for that I don't have any music/moving picture here this time)

Sorry I gotta go (after I've tried to write this 5 hours).. If I could download this post now to my blog.. anyway, see ya soon again <3

Wanna whole lotta love?

Oh my, a new reader! Fantastic! Should I say "welcome" or something? I hope you'll like my weird posts and this wouldn't get too boring, ya know.. so, welcome now officially. :3

OK, it's now morning about 8 am when I'm writing this and eating candy. Actually a lollipop. I thought it would me nice to do a post before we'll leave for Lahti between 9 and 10.. I could hardly sleep last night, even though I've been to few concerts before this (OK, this is my first club concert, and I'm kinda afraid of I'm gonna screw the thing up, 'cause I have really no idea how to be there)..
Go to check that if you have time:  http://www.finlandia-klubi.fi/fi/keikat/

I was shopping in Vaasa on wednesday, and I bought everything important.. Why everything ends the when you need them most? Like my eye-liner, mascara, foundation..

At last I've good waterproof mascara..
fucking expensive Lancome foundation, but it lasts long and covers well. I've used it long time and it has never let me down.. yet.
Then jewellery; ring from JC and bracelets from Glitter...
And I found Janis Joplin's collection from TopTen. Usually I hate collections but now I had to buy one, it's difficult to find Pearl or other Janis' albums from anywhere anymore, they're that old (unfortunately)..

Now I think everything is fine. Tomorrow is my daddy's birthday at one pub, so I need to go there when we return from Lahti.. again a weekend with no sleep. I did yesterday three playlists for the party, two rock lists and one disco.. I think my dad I quite proud of my music taste, we fought about 15 minutes of is Led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love too "long and difficult to understand" for that kind of situation. If you ask from me, Iove that song. Best blowin song ever, don't sleep for week and then listen to it. You'll go as mad as I already am.
