Record Fairs Part 1

Yep, last saturday there was Record Fairs, "Levymessut", organized in Vaasa. And of course I needed to check it out. First I gotta tell ya this sad story:
I found Led Zeppelin album Physical Graffiti from there. Actually, some guy next to me found it, and started to look at it. It was quite scratched, so the guy said he's not gonna buy it. It cost 25 €. And at that moment, when I was going to say to seller that I can buy the whole prize, the seller reported, that he can sell it for 15€. So that guy just bought the album I needed surely more than he. Damn.

There was so much good albums, especially famous old albums. I couldn't find Dead Boys or Lords Of The New Church even I tried, but I found the Damned, Nazareth and Alice Cooper. The prizes of singles are so high, Johnny Thunders Chinese Rocks cost 28€!
So at alst I walked out from the Olympia to TopTen...

Led Zeppelin III from TopTen.. I just love Immigrant Song too much.
And actually I don't really know Rainbow's music, but I love Ronnie James Dio, so it's gotta be good. That was some collection from the year 1977.

And to the end the thing I'm fn' proud of:

I found Hanoi Rocks: Underwater World colored single from Record Fairs. <3
This album was originally released in 1984 for promotion of  Two Steps From The Move, and in the plastic bag where the album was is still a label: selling on is forbidden.
I found this once from Levykauppa Äx, and it cost 60€. Now I got it with 25.

Next Saturday Record Fairs will be organized in Seinäjoki, at Rytmikorjaamo. And I'll be there..

Out of the blue and into the black

Sorry for the break, I had huge problem with my Google account.. I tried to delete my youtube account 'cause my password didn't work, and I created somehow new e-mail for myself... but anyway, now I made this work again.. And: thank you so much to new reader (!) (:

Today is Johnny Rotten's birthday. He's one of those old school punkrockers who are still alive. For me, it's respection with no limits. He just is so cool.
Sex Pistols has never been my favorite punk group, or Johnny my favorite vocalist, but they created something NEW and OWN. It's rare nowadays. And Rotten isn't only punk influental, he influenced a lot on american rock music, especially Neil Young.

And this really wasn't a post, only a little mention. Rock n' roll will survive.

Sergeant Pepper was a clever dude.

I'm not saying that I'd have change my opinion about Beatles. But I have always loved the names that Macca and other made up, like Magical Mystery Tour or Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. If you ask why, I can only answer, that I don't know. If you ask: Rolling Stones or Beatles? I'll still answer Rolling Stones. But I think this might be part of growing up; I stand Beatles now little bit more than.. for example four years ago. I respect it more. And I don't know why I'm telling you this.

Actually, I've been listening to blues for a while. Led Zeppelin, Dr. Feelgood (the band, not Mötley album) and Nazareth. Most of all Zeppelin. And AC/DC's oldest albums, like High Voltage, Powerage and Highway to hell. I think the idea of blues is creating a feeling, or a air, which comes stronger and stronger by every second of the song. The song starts from somewhere and ends to some other place. It's not a circle, it's a trip.
I love the original old blues bass line, like in Led Zeppelin's song Bring It On Home, and sound of saxophone. Seriously, there's far too few bands, that include saxophone to their songs.

I think you'll be wondering now, why I'm telling you this, actually things that don't matter. I think they're little things in life, which everyone should notice; if the picture is ugly, you gotta find a beautiful detail from it.
It's night time and I'm quite down. And I wanted to write something to you. My web works so bad, so I can't put videos here, but if I listened to music right now, the songs would be Make It Go Away, Not Anymore, Ain't It Fun, Stairway To Heaven and Hey,Hey, My,My. If you don't have anything else to do, I dare to ask you to listen to those songs <3

This meant to be a " mini-post"...

Sabbath bloody Sabbath

I just read something terrible: http://www.iltasanomat.fi/musiikki/black-sabbath--kitaristilla-syopa/art-1288440904146.html

I needed to write it down here, 'cause I'm so shocked.. Tony Iommi created most of legendary Black Sabbath songs, he was the former of the band and without him Iron Man wouldn't ever have seen the sunlight. Many people say he isn't so great guitarist, but the reason is that he has lost fingers in some accident.

Now I only hope he'll get better, and he wouldn't need to share a fate of Ronnie James Dio, (singer of Rainbow, Black Sabbath and so on)  who died for stomach cancer in 2010.. Ya know I got those tickets to Black Sabbath show, and now there's a possibility that they're gonna cancel all tour. Of course, it must be done if Tony's health is too bad for touring, but.. I'm shocked. I wish he will be alright. Strength and love for him, I don't know what else to say.
Only hope that this band will live forever.

Be careful what you fish for

Where have my readers gone? Why am I losing ya? I'm so sorry for my badness as a blog writer, if it depends on that, or my lazyness of updatings etc. I hope I ain't gonna lose the rest of you too. So writing more here cound be my new year's promise for ya.

Well, at first about my X -mas: I got books, books and more books for presents, a top hat, new carpet to my room, new pyjama.. but not albums at all. I was shocked. No CD's at all?

The books I got..

Anyway, school began again last week (on 2nd of January, c'mon!) On the 1st we had an little money collection project at huge grocery store.. we had to count every item of the store carefully, 'cause we had to count every label and size separately. And of course people had left there such a mess, so we had to clean the places up at the same time. That took about five hours, and we'll get about 130 € from the work.

After that I and the Fish went to see Sherlock Holmes 2 to movie theater.. I couldn't have imagened that some film could make me first cry, laugh, cry agin, laugh again, and the cry.. it was crazy. One of the best movies I've ever seen, I suppose. We went to watch it again yesterday, and we were cryin' there, again. I think other people at the film theater tought we have lost our minds or something, especially if they would have known we've already seen the film...

These things above have kept me fully employed last days, so I haven't had time to write here, or to visit in twitter or anywhere at all. First, few days ago my dad just walked to my room Kate Bush's Wuthering Hights album in his hand and said, that he tought to buy it for me in TopTen.. great, it's beautiful album and quite hard to find from this town..
I've been just reading, drawing and listening to music by this time, but I don't know how long anymore, 'cause my Mp3 can shut dowm on any minute. Ya see, it's damn broken. I've read The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes in English (with dictionary, I admit, in other hand and Holmes in another..) And I started to draw again, as ya can see.. more failed it couldn't be, I guess, even though it's not ready yet..
There's also stuff I bought from Vaasa when I was shoppig last time:
Heroin Diary by Nikki Sixx and W.A.R by Axl Rose ( I love rock n' roll biographys, ya know),
Yin & Yang necklace from Ninja
Aerosmith collection "Big Ones" from TopTen sales..
I bought also HUGE AC/DC shirt (mes size XL) from RockJet, 'cause it was the only AC/DC shirt i the whole city, or it seemed to be. Sorry, I don't have a photo of it, 'cause my fn' camera...

Well, this is how my year has begun. I hope yours has been more balanced..
